Victoria Business School is located within the centre of New Zealand’s thriving capital city, Wellington. This is the administrative and financial centre of New Zealand, and many businesses have their head offices here.

We have excellent connections in place with many of the corporate leaders, financial institutions, and government agencies in the city, and have developed mutually beneficial partnerships.

Our mission statement

Our mission drives the work of Victoria Business School and was adopted following consultation with staff, students and the wider University, and business and government communities.

Victoria Business School creates and shares knowledge of governance and management of resources in the public and private sectors to develop capability and provide our stakeholders with a global perspective.

We work hard to maintain the high standards expected of us by our students and other stakeholders and strive to remain competitive by achieving and maintaining many recognised accreditations. These include the 'Triple Crown' of international accreditations for business schools.

Expertise through our committees and boards

There are a variety of committees and boards governing or providing input into the Business School. The Faculty Advisory Board offers an opportunity for corporate leaders to share knowledge and expertise with the Dean of Commerce.

First class researchers and teachers

Our staff are experts in their chosen field. Through their extensive research, experience and collaboration with the corporate world, provide a first class teaching experience.
