Toitū te Ao–Sustainability Week 2019

With guests including Rt Hon. Helen Clark, Hon. James Shaw and School Strike 4 Climate’s Sophie Handford, Toitū te Ao–Sustainability Week 2019, 9–13 September, presents five days of fresh thinking for a more sustainable world.

Alongside the many student-led activities taking place during the week, the University is hosting lunchtime and evening events for the general public to increase their awareness of innovative ideas and research addressing sustainability issues. Staff are welcome to attend any of the events and some are aimed specifically for staff, such as a lunchtime session led by Dr Vini Olsen-Reeder on using te reo Māori to discuss sustainability themes.

Please visit the Toitū te Ao–Sustainability Week 2019 page on the University website to see what’s on and forward the link to anyone you think will be interested.
