Drugs can look like fun and provide a sense of escape—but they can damage your health and ability to function, sometimes permanently.
Using drugs can temporarily block out stressful situations, but unfortunately those stressors will still be there when you come back down. Drugs can seriously impair your ability to function, and have long-term effects on your physical and mental health.
If your drug use—or that of someone you know—is getting out of control and creating problems for you, it might be time to ask for help. Contact Student Counselling or another support organisation for advice.
