Re-enrolling international students

If you are an international student returning to study at the University, you may need to re-enrol online, with faculty, or with Victoria International.

There are different ways for returning international students to re-enrol. It depends on the type of study you have been doing and what you are enrolling for.

Pathway programme student

Apply through Victoria International

If you are a Foundation Studies or English Proficiency Programme (EPP) student now applying for undergraduate or postgraduate study, you need to apply through Victoria International.

Returning to study an undergraduate degree

Enrol online

If you are an undergraduate student returning to complete your degree, you can use the online enrolment system to enrol in your second, third, or subsequent year of undergraduate study.

Undergraduates applying for their first year of study must apply through Victoria International.

Returning to study a postgraduate coursework programme

Enrol online

If you are returning to study or complete a postgraduate coursework programme, you can use the online enrolment system if you completed your previous study at Victoria University of Wellington less than two years ago.

Apply through Victoria International

If you completed your previous degree or programme at Victoria University of Wellington more than two years ago, you need to apply through Victoria International.

Returning to study a Master’s by thesis

Apply through your faculty office

If you are returning to study a Master's by thesis, you should apply and enrol through your faculty office if you completed your previous study at Victoria University of Wellington less than two years ago.

Apply through Victoria International

If you completed your previous degree or programme at Victoria University of Wellington more than two years ago, you need to apply through Victoria International.

Returning to study a PhD

Apply through the Faculty of Graduate Research

If you are a returning student applying to study a PhD, you need to apply through the Faculty of Graduate Research.
