A crowd at a music venue with hands in the air

OWeek is the annual festival run by the students' association. The festival aims to provide all students with a fun and diverse start to the year.

OWeek 2018—26 February to 2 March

The beginning of the trimester can be a busy time. There are new places to check out, people to meet and study to organise. Luckily, Victoria University Students' Association (VUWSA) annual Orientation Week (OWeek) is here to help you make a smooth transition—along with a host of activities from Monday 26 February to Friday 2 March.

OWeek is spread over a fortnight in which the VUWSA teams up with the University to put on a huge range of events, from the annual Toga Party and Campus stalls to international music shows and comedy nights.

You can rest assured that VUWSA has got your best interests at heart, and we want to start the year with a bang. If it’s worth having, you can guarantee we’ve got it.

OWeek 2018 is going to be the best social experience of the year.

  • Grab your free VUWSA bag—jam-packed full of goodies (diary, wallplanner, freebies) from VUWSA at Kelburn campus during New Students’ Orientation and Week One of the trimester; and the VUWSA stall at the Te Aro and Pipitea campuses in Week Two.
  • Go back to Roman times—attend our annual rite-of-passage Toga Party.
  • Attend as many free, and reduced priced concerts and events as you can. With big ticket names, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for information about when tickets will go on sale, and for free prizes.

OWeek is going to be a massive, not-to-be missed festival of vast proportions.
