Rainbow students

We offer a range of services and resources for students who identify with diverse sexual orientations and sex and gender identities.

Rainbow and Inclusion at Victoria University of Wellington.

At Victoria University of Wellington, our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual/agender (LGBTQIA+), and takatāpui communities are known as the rainbow community.

Rainbow and Inclusion Adviser

We have recently appointed a Rainbow and Inclusion Adviser, Georgia Andrews, whose role is to connect students with appropriate services. She will work with our community to ensure that the University is a safe and inclusive environment for students of all sexualities, genders and sex characteristics.

Outreach Nurse service

An Outreach Nurse for rainbow students is available for appointments on the Kelburn and Te Aro campuses, and provides support for any health-related questions.

You can find more information about this service on the Student Health website.
