We offer a range of services and resources for students who identify with diverse sexual orientations and sex and gender identities.
At Victoria University of Wellington, our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual/agender (LGBTQIA+), and takatāpui communities are known as the rainbow community.
We are currently recruiting for a Rainbow and Inclusion Adviser, whose role will connect students with appropriate services and will work with our community to ensure that the University is a safe and inclusive environment for students of all gender and sexual identities.
An Outreach Nurse for rainbow students is available for appointments at Kelburn and Te Aro campuses and provides support for any health-related questions. You can find more information about this service on the Student Health website.
Orientation event for Rainbow students
As part of Orientation 2019, all rainbow students and allies are welcome to come along to a welcome brunch to connect with each other and meet key staff from across the University. We look forward to seeing you there!
