Everyone feels pressure when studying. It results in high levels of stress.

Positive stress happens when you are doing a desirable task that you need all of your skills/resources to complete.

Negative stress happens when you are experiencing more demands than you can handle.

Try the following suggestions to manage your stress and pressure and take some time out before coming back to the task recharged and ready:

  • Take action.
  • Take deep breaths.
  • Read a good book.
  • Bake.
  • Exercise.
  • Meditate.
  • Talk with someone.
  • Spend time with friends/family.
  • Listen to music.
  • Be in nature.
