A group of academics representing the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP) New Zealand recently met with counterparts from CSCAP China in Beijing.

The discussions were hosted by the China Institute for International Studies (CIIS) and covered a range of topics including views on regional security, regional economic cooperation and BRI, South Pacific issues, and New Zealand's recent defence policy statement.
