Student feedback from previous seminars:
"I love to hear alumni sharing their experience with us, how they landed their current job that interest them, how they pursued their career path, how they feel about their job. It's always good to hear from previous fellow students who studies at the same university, faculty with you."
"Enjoyed the seminar, it has really helped me in my future decision making"
"Interesting to learn about the steep learning curve that graduates have initially had."
"Talking to past graduates clarified for me what I needed to do in terms of my degree to get the type of job that I wanted."
"I really enjoyed the seminar! It is always nice to hear that we are not doing a useless degree! The speakers were really friendly and honest."
Information, not recruitment, is the key purpose of these informal events. Presenters participate on the understanding that they will speak about their personal career path and experiences, answer questions and network with attending students.
