Profile

After completing a Master’s degree in Events Management in the UK, Guoyang moved to Cape Town, South Africa and worked as a Chinese Volunteer Advisor in an international volunteer & internship travel agency. He then worked as a Project Manager in an event catering company in Shanghai, China. He also founded a volunteer travel information website ‘Travelneer.cn’. Before he began his Ph.D. in Tourism Management at Victoria University of Wellington, he took a career gap year and lived in Canberra, Australia.
