‘Work and Wellbeing’
LEW 2018 was held at Victoria University of Wellington, on 29-30 November, 2018
The biennial Labour, Employment and Work conferences have been hosted by Victoria University Wellington for more than 30 years. The Conference was established as an important national labour-market research symposium bringing together leading labour market scholars and policy makers. In keeping with CLEW’s extended research programme, we aim to broaden the range of papers presented at the LEW Conference. The theme of the 2018 conference, ‘Work and Wellbeing’, encouraged submissions around three major themes:
- workplace health, safety and wellbeing;
- employment relations and the regulatory environment for work and employment;
- gender equity in the workplace and pay equity; and

Papers and presentations from the ocnference that have been made available can be downloaded from the 2018 Conference on Labour, Employment and Work (LEW 2018) website by conference participants. Others who would like access to the papers should contact the centre.
