Language Tutoring positions (daytime)

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for part-time tutoring positions in undergraduate Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish language courses, held at the Kelburn campus.  The roles include tutoring language classes and student consultation.  Assessment and marking may also be required. 


Language Tutoring positions (evening)

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for tutoring positions in Trimester 1 2018. The roles include tutoring language classes.  Assessment and marking may also be required. There are positions available in the following courses:

CHIN 101 (Chinese Language 1A) Thursdays 6-8pm, Pipitea campus

SPAN 111 (Intro to the Spanish Language) Tuesdays 6-8pm, Pipitea campus


Other Tutoring positions

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for tutoring positions in the following courses:

ASIA 101 (New Zealand and Asia) Trimester 1

The roles include tutoring, marking (where required), and student consultation.  


Expressions of interest are sought from those who are native or near native speakers, hold a university qualification and/or have experience in teaching a foreign language to students at university. Applications from current SLC postgraduate students, as well as previous applicants, are encouraged.
