Italian Teaching Fellow Position

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for a Teaching Fellow position in the Italian Programme for the first half of Trimester 2, 2016. A position is available 1 July–2 September 2016, in the following course:

ITAL 115 Elementary Italian

The successful applicant will be responsible for course coordination, delivery of lectures, marking and student consultation.  Expressions of interest are sought from those who are native or near native speakers of Italian, hold a university qualification and/or have experience in teaching a foreign language to students at university.

Chinese Teaching Fellow Position

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for a Teaching Fellow position in the Chinese Programme in Trimester 2, 2016.  A position is available in the following course:

CHIN 112 (Introduction to Chinese Civilisation)

The successful applicant will be responsible for course coordination, delivery of lectures and tutorials, marking and student consultation. Expressions of interest are sought from those who hold a university qualification and have experience in teaching Chinese cultural history at a university where the language of instruction is English.

The School of Languages and Cultures invites applications for part-time tutoring positions in undergraduate Chinese language courses for Trimester 2, 2016.  The roles include tutoring language classes, and student consultation.  Assessment and marking may also be required.  Expressions of interest are sought from those who are native or near native speakers, hold a university qualification and/or have experience in teaching a foreign language to students at university.
