Ba X. Nguyen received his M.Sc. in Marketing from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was previously a lecturer at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and has also held various technical and managerial positions in the IT industry, Vietnam. He is a Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training Scholarship recipient.

My doctoral research entails performing time-series analyses on trade data and bibliographic data to describe the relationship between international collaboration and trade flows. Potential contributions of this work include establishing the state of the art in the analysis of co-authorship and trade analysis and evidence-based validation of the role of international research collaboration as a determinant of bilateral trade flows.
My related research interests include co-authorship and citation analyses, network theory and analysis, and international business analysis.
