The following School staff lead research projects within the Environmental Studies and Sustainability Research Group:

• Dr Wojke Abrahamse - environmental psychology, human dimensions of environmental change, and engagement in environmentally friendly behaviours
• Dr Luke Kiddle - Urban geography, environment studies, development studies, Pacific studies, informal settlements, wellbeing
• Associate Prof Ralph Chapman - Climate change policy, environment, transport, energy, urban design, environmental health, and comparative environmental policy
• Dr Amanda Thomas - environmental democracy, feminist political ecology, geographies of activism, freshwater politics
