Anh Dang

Profile

Anh received a BSc (Honors) in Environmental Sciences from the Vietnam National University in 2009. In 2012, she received her MSc in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation Application from the University of Twente in The Netherlands.

Anh’s research interest is the application of geographic information system and remote sensing in natural resources management. Before moving to Wellington to undertake her doctoral project at Victoria University of Wellington, she worked as a research associate at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. In her doctoral research, she will develop a framework to support sustainable management of multi-ecosystem services and nature-based water resources management in the Vietnam Mekong River Delta. Anh hopes the research results will be able to help policy makers establish effective water resource management measures that ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of the Delta.
