New Zealand Electronic Text Collection

The NZ Electronic Text Collection comprises significant New Zealand and Pacific Island texts and materials held by Victoria University of Wellington Library. This encompasses both digitised heritage material and born-digital resources. The NZETC supports the teaching, learning and research activities at Victoria University of Wellington through: The digitisation of historical works held uniquely by the university Library with an emphasis on works created by our university; The support of the creation of born-digital resources created by our university. The texts made available on the NZETC are freely accessible to all researchers regardless of their affiliation with Victoria University of Wellington.

Theatre Archives New Zealand

Theatre Archives New Zealand was formed to help preserve and promote interest in our theatre heritage. Our theatre archives are currently held in theatres, libraries, and other repositories all around the country. The Theatre Archive's mission is to identify all such archives, to list them, and encourage theatres and individuals to place them in secure repositories, and aims to achieve these things through:

  • providing a database of New Zealand theatre archives
  • a training manual to help organisations care for their archives offering advice to theatres and other arts organisations who hold theatre archives.
