Current research projects

A volume on Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier that I co-edited, ReFocus: The Films of Susanne Bier, was published in April 2018 as the inaugural volume in Edinbugh University Press’ international directors series, while an article following up on issues the volume raised is forthcoming from the Journal of Scandinavian Cinema. In addition, work in progress includes a book on the posthuman onscreen as well as research on the cinema and activism of women filmmakers.
