Miramar Creative Centre: Study in the heart of Wellington's film industry
The Film Programme within the School of English, Film, Theatre, and Media Studies here at Victoria University of Wellington is very excited to be a part of the new Miramar Creative Centre.
The facility will initially be shared by students in Victoria’s Master of Fine Arts (Creative Practice) and Master of Design Technology programmes. It comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for film production, post-production, visual effects, music scoring, animation, game design and other multimedia.
Located at 133 Park Road, the Miramar Creative Centre is the result of a collaboration between Victoria University, Miramar Creative Ltd, Park Road Post Production, Weta Workshop and Weta Digital. Being at the heart of Wellington’s globally recognised film hub awards our students with the priceless opportunity to learn first-hand from some of the world’s leading talent in the industry.
