Raman Laboratory
The Raman Lab is a research facility run jointly by the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences (SCPS) and the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology.
The expertise of the lab covers:
- Raman spectroscopy
- surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and surface-enhanced fluorescence (SEF)
- plasmonics and optical properties of materials in general
- electromagnetic theory and electromagnetic modeling.
