Please note: Forensic Science is offered as a minor only, and requires a semester of exchange study.
The minor in Forensic Science aims to provide students with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles behind the application of scientific techniques to forensic investigations and to the criminal justice system.
Advances in basic scientific research have had a rapid and dramatic impact in these fields and it is only through an understanding of these fundamental scientific concepts that the legal system may be effective in criminal investigations.
It is available to students majoring in Chemistry or Cell and Molecular Bioscience during a semester of exchange study at the National University of Singapore (NUS), one of the world’s top universities—ranked twelfth in the world and first in Asia in 2015.
This competitive programme only takes two students per year. You must apply by the Victoria Abroad July deadline, and study starts in January of the following year.
