Speaker: PM’s Fellow from Brazil, Tatiana Lacerda Prazeres, Secretary of Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
Tatiana Lacerda Prazeres is Brazil's Secretary of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. She graduated with a degree in law and international relations, with a specialisation in foreign trade. She holds a master's degree in international law and a Ph.D. in international relations from the University of Brasilia and Georgetown University. After entering the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade’s professional body as a foreign trade analyst, she became an official of the United Nations in Geneva. In this position, she worked on international trade issues and on the implementation of foreign trade policy in several countries representing the International Trade Centre (ITC). At Apex-Brazil, she coordinated the international sector, later becoming the general manager. She also worked as an international relations consultant for the Industrial Development Brazilian Agency (ABDI). She has experience as a professor and has published several books on international trade.

Cristian Cuturrufo Group jazz performance

At the New Zealand School of Music. Cristian Cuturrufo is one of Latin America’s leading jazz musicians and was in New Zealand for the International Jazz Festival. The NZSM performance was organised by the Embassy of Chile and VILLA.
Victoria University of Wellington and Mexican Government MOU signed

The memorandum provides for an annual Chair for a visiting Professor from Mexico from 2010. The agreement was signed by Ambassador Angelica Arce on behalf of the Mexican Government and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Roberto Rabel on behalf of Victoria University.
