Eligibility
The NZ Institute of Architects (NZIA), via the Victoria University Foundation, has established these awards to:
1. Acknowledge design excellence in students of Architecture.
2. Signal to the profession, the industry and the public that a major talent has been discovered.
3. Assist in a positive relationship between students of Architecture and the NZIA.
All prizes and awards relate to the design projects undertaken by all students of Architecture in Studio. The awards are for Years 1-4 inclusive, and for Year 5.
Information
All prizes and awards relate to the design projects undertaken by all students of Architecture in Studio.
Recipients will be asked to write a letter of appreciation which will be forwarded to the donor.
Winner in Year 1-4 prize pack consists of the following:
- Free registration ticket to the 2019 NZIA institute conference in Auckland.
- Free registration ticket to the 2018 Multi Unit Housing Series.
- Free registration ticket to the 2018 Design Series.
- Free ticket to the 2018 Local Awards evening.
- NZIA book package
Highly Commended in Years 1-4 prize pack consists of the following:
- Free registration ticket to the 2018 Multi Unit Housing Series.
- Free registration ticket to the 2018 Design Series.
- Free ticket to the 2018 Local Awards evening.
- NZIA book package
The winner in Year 5 will receive $5000 cash and a travel voucher to the value of $1,500. Each of the two Highly Commended winners in Year 5 will receive a travel voucher to the value of $1,500.
