This prize, established to mark the centenary of the Todd family in New Zealand and in memory of Lady Todd, is provided annually by members of the Todd family. It is awarded to the best student enrolled for postgraduate study in Nursing and Midwifery.

This prize, established to mark the centenary of the Todd family in New Zealand and in memory of Lady Todd, is provided annually by members of the Todd family.

1. The prize shall be known as the Lady Todd Memorial Prize in Nursing and Midwifery.

2. The prize shall be awarded annually to the student judged to be most worthy of the award who, in the year of the award, is enrolled for the first time in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery as a postgraduate student.

3. No student who is a direct descendant of the late Sir Desmond and Lady Todd or the spouse of a direct descendant is eligible to be awarded the prize.

4. The prize shall be awarded by the Academic Board on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery.

5. The value of the prize shall be such sum as the Todd family shall decide, and shall consist of a book or books, or cash.
