Eligibility

This prize has been funded in perpetuity, via the Victoria University Foundation, from a bequest by the late Mrs Moira (Babs) White in honour of her grandfather Sir Thomas Hunter. The prize is to assist Honours students in Psychology who are continuing on to postgraduate study and shall be awarded to the student who earned the highest grade for his/her fourth year research project in Psychology and who is undertaking postgraduate study for at least another two trimesters.

Information

This prize has been funded in perpetuity via the Victoria University Foundation from a bequest by the late Mrs Moira (Babs) White in honour of her grandfather Sir Thomas Hunter. The prize is to assist Honours students in Psychology who are continuing on to postgraduate study.

1. One prize shall be awarded to the student who earned the highest grade for his/her fourth year research project in Psychology and who is enrolled in postgraduate study in Psychology at Victoria University.

2. The prize will be made annually.

3. The recipient must undertake postgraduate study for two trimesters.

4. The value of the prize shall shall be determined by the Victoria University Foundation on consideration of the income from the capital.

5. If in any year there are no suitable candidates the prize money will be held over for another year.

6. Recipients will be asked to write a letter of appreciation which will be forwarded appropriately.
