One prize is awarded annually in the School of Government to the student who, in the opinion of the Head of School, demonstrated the best application of economic analysis to public policy or public management.

Information

This prize was established in 2012 via the Victoria University Foundation by Emiritus Professor Dame Margaret Clark. The prize acknowledges the work of her late husband, Bernard Galvin, in public policy and public management. Bernard Galvin was a former Head of the Prime Minister's Department, Secretary to The Treasury, and former Victoria University Council member and Treasurer.

The recipient will be asked to write a letter of appreciation which will be forwarded to the donor.
