Information

The Embassy of Israel Prize in Religion and the State of Israel shall be awarded to the student who submits the best essay on an aspect of religious life and thought in a course in the Department of Religious Studies.
Topics include:
· "the status quo" agreement and its implications for religious life in Israel
· the holy places and the State of Israel
· a focus on one or more specific religious communities in the State of Israel
OR any additional topic to be agreed with the Embassy of Israel
A copy of the winning essay may be provided to the Ambassador for Israel. The Embassy of Israel, or a designated representative, shall confirm the award.
The value of the prize shall be $500.
