This prize was established in 2002 by the Victoria University of Wellington Scottish Interest Group to encourage interest in Scottish architects and architecture. It shall be awarded annually to the student who, in the judgement of the Examiner's Committee, has produced the best work dealing with issues related to Scottish architects and architecture.

The prize was established in 2002, by the Victoria University of Wellington Scottish Interest Group, to encourage interest in Scottish architects and architecture.

1. The prize shall be known as the Victoria Scottish Interest Group Prize in Architecture.

2. The prize shall be to the value of $300 (books and/or cash), together with one year's free membership of the Scottish Interest Group.

3. The prize shall be awarded annually to the student who, in the judgement of the Examiner's Committee, has produced the best work dealing with issues related to Scottish architects and architecture, and is assessed to be worthy of the award.

4. The prize may be awarded to students enrolled in any of the degree programmes conducted under the auspices of the School of Architecture.

5. Where appropriate and feasible, the winner will be expected to make a brief presentation outlining the work that led to being recommended for the prize.
