This prize was established in 1923 in memory of Bruce Dall from a gift by his friends. It is awarded to the best Physics major at 100-level.
This prize, in memory of Bruce Dall, arises from a gift of $100 by his friends, in 1923. The prize fund was later increased by further donations.
1. The prize shall be known as the Bruce Dall Prize.
2. The prize shall be awarded annually to a student attending a 100-level Physics class. The student shall, in the opinion of the Head, School of Chemical and Physical Sciences, be worthy of the award and be the best physics major of the year at this level.
3. The value of the prize shall be determined by the Academic Board after consideration of the income from the fund. The balance of income not expended shall be added to the fund.
4. Part of the prize money shall be spent on a book, or books.
