These three prizes were initially provided by Addison Wesley Longman Publishers, and have been continued by Pearson Education. They shall be awarded to three undergraduates majoring in computer science or GDipSc students (one student at each level).

These three prizes were initially provided by Addison Wesley Longman Publishers, and have been continued by Pearson Education. They shall be awarded to three undergraduates majoring in computer science or GDipSc students (one student at each level).
1. The prizes shall be known as the Pearson Addison Wesley Prize for Excellence in Computer Science.
2. Three prizes shall be awarded annually to three undergraduates majoring in computer science or GDipSc students (one student at each level) who, in the opinion of the Head of the School of Engineering and Computing Science, are outstanding computer science students.
3. The students at 100 and 200 level must be enrolling in the following year in Computer Science courses at the next level.
4. The student at 300 level must have completed the Computer Science major requirements.
5. No student may receive the prize more than once, or receive this prize in the same year as another prize or scholarship for Computer Science administered by the university.
5. Each prize will be a set of books provided by Pearson Education.
