This scholarship is offered, via the Victoria University Foundation, to a New Zealand-based Maori/Pasifika student who has the best average grade in two 100-level Art History courses and who is intending to Major in Art History. To be eligible for the award, recipients must enrol for full-time study at the 200-level of an Art History course in the following year at Victoria University.

History or background of award
The Art History Programme has elected to set up an endowed prize with the proceeds from a successful study tour to Italy in 2014.

Purpose of award
To provide support for Maori/Pasifika students intending to major in Art History, initially by enrolling at the 200-level at Victoria University of Wellington.

Selection criteria
This scholarship is offered, via the Victoria University Foundation, to a New Zealand-based Maori/Pasifika student who has the best average grade in two 100-level Art History courses and who is intending to Major in Art History. To be eligible for the award, recipients must enrol for full-time study at the 200-level of an Art History course in the following year at Victoria University.

Recipients must be New Zealand-based Maori/Pasifika students who meet the criteria outlined above.

What conditions are attached to acceptance of this award?
Successful recipients must enrol in a Major in Art History within a 200-level Art History course following the 100-level year. Payment for the award will be made on receipt of a confirmation of study to this effect.
