Eligibility

This scholarship was established in 1980 by the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Sir John Marshall, GBE, CH, BA, LLM, Hon. LLD, to encourage the study of Political Science at Victoria University. It shall be awarded to a full-time student (or a part-time student not in paid employment) who is enrolled in 200 level POLS courses and who is intending to major in Politics.

Information

This scholarship was established in 1980 by the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Sir John Marshall, GBE, CH, BA, LLM, Hon. LLD, to encourage the study of Political Science at Victoria University.

The scholarship shall be awarded to the student who completed 100 level work in the year preceeding the award and is, in the opinion of the of the Head of the School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations, the best student eligible for the scholarship in the year of the award.

The recipient must be enrolled at 200 level POLS before the award can be paid.
