VBS alumna comes top of the class across Australasia
Congratulations to alumna Hannah Horton, who has gained kudos with leading results in a program run by Australasian chartered accountants organisation CA ANZ.
Hannah Horton, an employee of Accounting & Business Advisory firm BDO, has come top across the whole of Australasia in the recent CA ANZ Capstone Module exams.
She is a BCom graduate who majored in Accountancy and Commercial Law, and the Capstone module is the final module of the prestigious postgraduate accounting program run by CA ANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand).
Hannah gained top marks out of the 731 candidates who took this Capstone module examination across Australasia, and the Auckland-based auditor was excited by her result.
"It was a fantastic surprise to receive this award – and such a high to finish studying on," she said.
"I’m excited to start to look ahead, and see where my Chartered Accountancy will take me in my career. I found starting in a large intake of graduates also on the CA pathway, along with study days & other training provided by BDO, made the CA pathway much smoother than I expected."
