Over 1,300 Pasifika students find their place of belonging at the University each year. We have three campuses in Wellington, and premises in central Auckland.

Pasifika staff and support for current students

Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington has a strong network of dedicated Pasifika staff who are committed to helping students succeed. Our Pasifika Student Success team work alongside other key Pasifika support staff from across the University.

We also provide a wide range of Pasifika student support services to ensure a successful university experience for all new and existing students.

Supportive network

We have a strong presence across the University’s three campuses in Wellington—Pipitea, Te Aro and Kelburn.  There are friendly spaces with support for Pasifika students to study, hold Pasifika events, seminars, workshops and opportunities to engage with our communities.

Our Pipitea and Te Aro campuses house the Faculty of Law and Wellington School of Business and Government, and the Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation respectively.

Pasifika postgraduate study

Victoria University of Wellington has an active and dynamic community of postgraduate students from throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, and across the Pacific region.

The individual faculties administer and oversee all Honours and Masters programmes, while the Faculty of Graduate Research (FGR) administers and oversees all Doctoral programmes.
