Scroll of Honour for Rodger Fox
Rodger Fox has received a Scroll of Honour from The Variety Artist Club of New Zealand in recognition of his valued contribution as a celebrated musician, musical director and educator.
The award was presented at a ceremony in late September. The Variety Artists Club of New Zealand awards are recognised as this country’s definitive variety entertainment awards.
In presenting the award, the club thanked Rodger for his ‘his unwavering dedication to the entertainment industry of New Zealand’.
Rodger recently took his big band on tour to the USA, playing at the Monterey Jazz Festival and recorded at United Studios. The band is made up of a number of NZSM jazz alumni and regularly performs throughout New Zealand.
