As part of music therapy week the NZSM is hosting this event providing a window into the lives of professional registered Music Therapists in New Zealand. Music therapy is an exciting and growing profession and our speakers will be sharing stories from their work in fields including early intervention, neurology and dementia care. The event is free and open to all who are interested in learning more about music therapy and the experiences of New Zealand music therapists. The keynote speaker is Kimberley Wade, the founder of Southern Music Therapy, a private music therapy practice based in Christchurch. A light lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
