Miriam Meyerhoff receives stakhanovite award from the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence “Dynamics of Language”.

24 July 2015 Professor Miriam Meyerhoff receives stakhanovite award as she taught two separate intensive courses on language variation – one on Language variation within a documentation toolkit at the University of Melbourne, and a second on Studying Language Variation in Small-Scale Speech Communities at the ANU (this second as part of the Wellsprings of Linguistic Diversity Laureate Project).
