Get set up for study

Once you’ve completed International Orientation and enrolled, you’ll be able to get your student ID card and set up your online services.

Student ID cards

All students at Victoria must have a student ID card. You’ll be able to get yours a few days after you’ve completed enrolment.

After you complete your enrolment, you’ll get a yellow slip with information about when you can collect your student ID card—it usually takes four or five working days.

On, or after the date noted on your yellow slip, please take the slip to the Enrolment counter, Level 1 of the Hunter building (open from 8.30am–5pm, Monday to Friday) to collect your ID card.

Online services

Victoria has many online tools, and free wireless internet on campus. You’ll also get a Victoria email address—this is usually how we’ll contact you, so make sure you check it regularly. Find out how to get set up online.

myVictoria is Victoria University’s secure web portal for students and staff. Use myVictoria to find and manage the information you need while studying and working at Victoria.

Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll be sent an email with your myVictoria username and password. The default password for your account is your student ID number—you'll need to change it when you log in for the first time.

Blackboard holds course information, assessment dates, results and resources. You can access Blackboard from myVictoria or at
