We recommend that you pay your fees at least three months before courses start, so that you have time to arrange your visa before arriving in New Zealand.
If you’re applying for a student visa from overseas you can apply online and send your passport to your nearest Immigration New Zealand visa application centre.
International students can apply to stay in a University hall of residence, in a private homestay or arrange private off-campus accommodation.
You must have approved medical and travel insurance as a condition of your student visa.
