In 2015, the Welsh Assembly enacted the Well-Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act. In this public seminar Marie Brousseau-Navarro explains the nature and origins of this pioneering piece of legislation, and will discuss the Welsh approach to foresight and protecting the interests of future generations, with particular reference to the provisions of the Act

Marie Brousseau-Navarro is the Director of Policy, Legislation and Innovation in the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales.

She is a specialist in public law and has previously held positions as an editor, researcher and legal consultant, and served for a number of years as a member of the Welsh Committee of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
