Seminar presentation: A stronger accountability framework for environmental outcomes

A comprehensive proposal for a stronger accountability framework for environmental outcomes.

The proposal is aimed at changing the political dynamics of decision-making through comprehensive ex ante setting of environmental outcome objectives and targets, together with strengthened ex post monitoring and reporting. Specifically, changes are proposed to the Environmental Reporting Act 2015 alongside the more effective integration of environmental management in government strategy, policy-making and the budget cycle.
