Nora Parore is a Māori Research Fellow to the Health Services Research Centre. She joined the Centre in 2018 and commenced the Doctor of Health (DHlth) professional doctorate programme in 2019.  Nora is a New Zealand registered and practising Māori pharmacist with a strong background in community pharmacy but also has regulatory and government agency experience. Nora enjoys working with whānau to improve their health, well-being and experiences in health care and also teaching/mentoring young pharmacists/intern pharmacists. She has appointments with the Māori Pharmacists’ Association Executive Committee and the Integrated Community Pharmacy Services.

Current Projects

Enhancing Primary Health Care Services to Improve Health in Aotearoa/New Zealand

A Health Research Council grant looking at models of health care delivery via primary health care service providers, including those via pharmacists.
