Kat Groenewald receives palliative nursing scholarship
Graduate School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health student Kat Groenewald was recently awarded a two-year palliative care nursing scholarship.
The Donny Trust, in partnership with Mary Potter Hospice and Capital & Coast District Health Board offers a two-year palliative care nurse specialist nursing programme scholarship. In order to release Kat to work in four clinical placements, the scholarship pays for Kat's salary for two years, funds her to complete her postgraduate diploma in palliative care and covers the cost of her attendance at a National Palliative Care Conference.
