Sessions for supervisors
Sessions available for academic staff to help encourage quality supervision of research students.
The Faculty of Graduate Research provides skills-development opportunities for research supervisors throughout the year. Each session comprises a brief presentation followed by an insightful discussion on a particular topic relevant to supervision.
Our sessions are an opportunity to examine the evidence base for good practices in supervision, interact with other supervisors, and encourage knowledge-sharing—identifying and sharing good practice. They provide an avenue to exchange inspiration and refine skill sets.
