Victoria University of Wellington offers many scholarships to students through the Scholarships Office.
The office maintains the Scholarships Database, a comprehensive database listing all available scholarships with criteria, value, tenure and closing dates. Most application forms can be downloaded from this database. For best results when searching the database, keep the search terms broad.
The office also welcomes enquiries from students and staff. Please contact us by email or drop in to 10 Kelburn Parade between 8.00 am and 4.30 pm on weekdays.
Summer Scholarships
If you’re a third year or above, interested and skilled in research, you could spend the summer supporting a research project and earn a valuable scholarship.
The Summer Research Scholarships offer a unique opportunity for you to obtain experience in research. Working with globally recognised researchers in a local setting, you will gain valuable real-world experience as well as an insight into what research is all about.
2022/2023 Summer Research Scholarship applications are now closed.
Applications for 2023/2024 scholarships will open later in 2023.
