Description
Dr Gerst is a highly regarded volcanologist and astronaut, who has undertaken two missions to the International Space Station (ISS). In this public lecture he will be sharing his experience of space travel and the unique perspective he has gained on earth.
Dr Gerst completed a Master’s degree in Science at Victoria University of Wellington. After completing his doctorate at the University of Hamburg he was selected as an astronaut by the European Space Agency in 2009.
