Mengying Jiang is a PhD candidate in Literary Translation Studies with the School of Languages and Cultures at Victoria University of Wellington. Her main research interests are the study of literary translation from Chinese into English; translation and gender; cultural and sociological approaches to literary translation studies; the role of para-texts in literary translation.
