Profile

Mike currently lectures in Curriculum, Geography education, and Social Studies education papers in the MTchLrn, Post Graduate Diploma (Secondary), and BTeach programmes. His work focuses on teacher curriculum-making: the intersection of subject knowledge, pedagogy and student needs.

Current research

Mike is currently researching the place and role of disciplinary theoretical perspectives in senior secondary school geography.

Supervision interests

Mike is interested in supervising postgraduate thesis research in any area of Geography education in the school system.
