Dr Chris Bowden presented "Working in the void: Suicide, suffering, trauma, and transformation"
In our inaugural annual lecture on 23 October, Dr Chris Bowden discussed his personal journey and experiences as a suicide educator working with and educating rangatahi/young people, families/whānau, educators, and others working in communities.
Chris talked about the art and science of suicide education and the importance of promoting the ‘second stories’ of survivors—stories of courage, transformation, and hope.
