The School of Design at Victoria University offers students a unique opportunity to study within a multi-disciplinary environment. Located in New Zealand's creative capital, Wellington, we attract the best and brightest from all over the world.

The programmes we offer span a range of disciplines that explore contemporary design and innovative approaches, through courses tailored to meet current and future trends within the design industry. Study options range from professional postgraduate qualifications to undergraduate degrees to complement a range of careers.

Our degrees were recently restructured for greater flexibility and now you can complete a design degree in only three years. With options to add courses from other disciplines, students can now study subjects not normally associated with design.

School academic staff are internationally recognised as leaders in their fields and provide teaching and mentoring to students throughout their studies.

Their cutting-edge research covers a range of topics and involves postgraduate students as well as academic staff. The majority of our research projects have been presented or exhibited internationally.
